A Quote to Live By:“You can never leave footprints that last if you are always walking on tiptoe. We must raise our voices together, because our individual stories become a force when they are shared. When women come together — across difference, across struggle — we are unstoppable. Real change starts in those moments when we stop being silent, when we see each other, and when we decide we’re not doing this alone anymore”— Leymah Gbowee,

Empowering Women’s Mental Wellbeing — Together

• Janie Frampton OBE DL, who reminded us to claim space and lift others as we lead.
• Farah Ahmed, who highlighted how women’s heart health is often overlooked and called for gender-aware care.
• M. Isabel Ayres, postpartum therapist, who urged women to prepare a “mental health kit” alongside a pregnancy kit.Their messages sparked dialogue on redefining strength, self-care, and leadership rooted in compassion.Key Takeaways
1. Rest and self-compassion are essential foundations of resilience.
2. Women’s health advocacy must include emotional and gender-sensitive care.
3. Healing happens in safe, cross-community spaces. With support from Faith In Nature, WELEDA UK, Morrisons, HotTea Mama, and Love Peace Harmony Foundation, the event inspired new partnerships and volunteers.Rest, Resilience & Rising became more than a gathering — it ignited a community movement for everyday mental wellbeing and collective care.
